Established in 2015 to provide private orthotic care to the people of Retford, Worksop, Doncaster and beyond, we now welcome clients from across the country.
We know how the body moves and a slight dysfunction in one area can lead to problems elsewhere. Getting to the root of the problem, which isn’t always where you feel the pain, is essential to get the right treatment.
Using a variety of advanced gait analysis technology, we can really analyse movement patterns and determine what area(s) we should be focusing your treatment to get maximum benefits.
Treatment can include bespoke orthoses, rehabilitation plans, shockwave therapy, footwear advice, and more.

Check our availability and book an appointment with our Orthotist. At your appointment we will discuss the issues you are having, carry out a full assessment, fully explain our findings, and then recommend a treatment plan.
What to expect at your appointment with The Lakes Orthotics
Static Assessment
This is an assessment of the body when not in motion. It allows the orthotist to observe any unusual joint positions and check muscle strength.
Dynamic Assessment
This is a weight bearing assessment of the body and allows the orthotist to observe whether there are any unusual joint positions or motions during gait.
Gait Analysis
We use highly advanced 2D and 3D gait analysis systems which allow accurate movement assessment and analysis during walking and running.
